Please contact us to Arrange-A-Fitting and we will make an appointment time for you. Our fitting studios are located in Fitzroy and Brunswick, Victoria.


Come and meet one of our styling specialists for a consultation at our fitting studio. This is your opportunity to try on the range and view fabrics in person before purchasing. During your one hour appointment time you can try on as many pieces as you like. Some styles are customisable and we can discuss fit and fabric options as we go. Your initial 1 hour consultation is a one off fee of $50 which is refunded from the total amount should you purchase with us. Family and friends are welcome to join you, however at this time we ask that a maximum of two guests accompany you. Most samples are in a size 8 and 14 - but unfortunately not all styles are available in every size, please ensure before your consultation you have provided your size and list the styles you wish to try on. If the sample size is quite different to the size you would be, the stylist have ways to help you to alter the larger sizes to see what it would look like in your size.


We suggest wearing nude seamless underwear or shape-wear if you prefer. We have a selection of shoes available, but if you’ve already purchased your shoes for your wedding day, or have a similar heal height to what you will be wearing you can bring them with you. Kindly wear no make-up or perfume to protect our sample dresses.


You can check your measurements to see which size is your best fit here. At the moment, our samples are in sizes 8 and size 14. We are working towards extending our sizing options. If you require a size that is not within our 6-14 online size range please contact us.


We recommend trying on our garments in our studio before purchasing to physically see how the garments looks and feel to help you make a selection. However, if this is not possible and you wish to purchase online our stylists are available to assist you through the process. Prior to ordering please ensure that you have checked your measurements and have chosen the correct size and length for your body. We recommend you get someone else to assist you in taking your measurements. If you are in-between sizes it is always best to order a size up, as it is easier to take a garment in, but often impossible to take out. Please allow extra in your budget and schedule for alterations to get your perfect fit for you. Please choose your alteration specialist carefully as Oarma will not be responsible for alterations. You must read and agree to all of our terms and conditions, privacy policy and purchasing agreement before making a purchase. If you would like a fabric sample swatch to be mailed to you please contact us with the garment style and fabric colour you wish to sample. The cost for this is $10AUD. Please note fabric sample swatches may vary slightly from sample to garment. This is due to the variations in fabric batches from our suppliers. Once you have purchased via our online store the studio will be in contact with you to confirm your details and finalise your order.


As all of the gowns are made to order in our local Northcote studio, certain changes are possible. These changes include; garment colour (depending on fabric availability), lengthening or shorting styles, adding (or taking away) sleeves and changing a neckline. These changes come at an additional charge to the gown. You are welcome to discuss any changes during your fitting appointment or email to discuss.


Each Oarma garment is made to order and it takes a minimum of 4 months to make each gown. That 4 months starts once the payment for the garment/item has been received, your size and length have been chosen and your details have been confirmed by us.
